Unsigned CD Section.

 

Tones Music store, as always are looking at more ways to support the local music scene and are now Stocking local unsigned artists material.

The Idea:

This is an opportunity for bands to have their CDs available 7 days a week in a music shop allowing the people who didn’t have the cash on the night of the gig to buy it when they do.
From the shops point of view, Tones can build a bond with the local music scene by supplying the bands with this offer while also attracting people into the store and hopefully having its name mentioned here and there.

The Way it works:

The band/artist will bring in either five, ten, fifteen or twenty copies of their CD for Tones to stock for the agreed period of 2 months, at the end of which the amount of money made will be given to the band along with any remaining CDs.
The band can then choose to replenish stock and sign them over for another 2 months if they wish.

Money:

The only money that changes hands is Tones paying the bands at the end of the two month period and the bands can choose exactly how much they want to charge for each CD sold.
Tones will add a percentage of 20% to pay for the space in the shop, plus VAT on the total.
Therefore if the band wants to make £4.00 on every CD sold the retail price will be £5.64.
