Tones is the first shop in the South East to offer Weekend Warriors.

This is a scheme to get us "Oldies" (35 and over) back into music by forming groups from like minded individuals, giving them four rehearsals in a professional rehearsal / recording studio, equipment needed for the rehearsals can be loaned, and a mentor will be provided to give advice (or just to run around changing strings!). And at the end of the rehearsals......A GIG! Where you get to perform songs with your new band at Moot Hall, Harlow with a DVD recording available to keep for posterity.

THE FIRST GIG WAS IN APRIL 2006 AT THE SQUARE, HARLOW WHEN ALL THE WARRIORS GOT OVER SOME INITIAL NERVES & 'ROCKED OUT' IN FRONT OF A SELL OUT CROWD OF FRIENDS, FAMILY AND REGULAR 'SQUARE' VISITORS.

THE SECOND GIG WAS IN OCT 2006 AND WHEN MORE BEDROOM MUSO'S BECAME 'ON STAGE' MUSOS'S - ROCKIN' OUT ENSUED!

THE THIRD WAS LATE 07 AND WAS HELD AT MOOT HALL, A 200 CAPACITY VENUE WHICH SOLD OUT DAYS BEFORE THE ACTUAL SHOW! ONE OF THE BEST WEEKEND WARRIOR NIGHTS SO FAR

EVERYONE ENJOYED THESE GREAT NIGHTS OUT AND MANY OF THE WARRIOR BANDS HAVE STAYED TOGETHER AND ARE NOW REGULARLY PLAYING PUBS AND FUNCTIONS!
